Below are the essences belonging to the “Elemental” family. These essences encompass materia revolving around water, fire, earth, and air.

Below are the essences belonging to the “Crystal” family. These essences encompass materia appearing in orderly crystalline form

Below are the essences belonging to the “Metal” family. These essences encompass materia that is solid and metallic in nature.

Below are the essences belonging to the “Forbidden” family. These essesnces encompass materia known to be off limits by most Alchemy guilds.

Below are the essences belonging to the “Synthetic” family. These essences encompass matiera created by human hands.

Prima Materia

The raw source for all known essences. Prima Materia is the building block for the entirety of the material plane. If an alchemist were to get their hands on some prima materia they could synthesize whatever essence they please.

Chaos Essence

Chaos essences are incredibly rare. When used they disrupt the quilt of materia sparking random transmutations and binding uncontrollably to other essences. Using a chaos essence will spark a week long event where all transmutations will receive a random and unforseen additional essence as well as a “glitch” background.

Hallucinatory Essence

These essences are exceptionally rare. They appear and disappear at random and must be seized once verified. Hallucinatory essences will yield transmutations that react to the mind and senses. Very little is understood about this hallucinatory essence and further research is required. As of now Hallucinatory essences can not be used alongside other essences in a transmutation.
